The original asbestos riddled, termite eaten and sadly neglegted house was so bad, it had a "Danger Do not Enter" sign on the back door. Apart from the great location, aspect and "good bones", it really had nothing much going for it other than the modest asking price.
Over many years, the owners slowly renovated, extended and built as funds would allow. Now, they live in a well planned, charming and thoroughly livable home. The Al fresco bbq and dining area, associated pool and Pizza oven as well as the seriously productive vegetable gardens and food forest (open to the neighbourhood generally) has made this dwelling the family, neighbours and friends' get together hub of what has become like a little village.
For the owners, it was big risk, and a long haul, but ultimately, thoroughly worth it.
