Design Notes
Where's the front door? How you enter this vaguely renovated 1940s double brick lump was always a bit of a mystery. Apart from the desperate need to make sweeping changes to the internal layout of the house, we needed to create a feeling of welcome. A sense of address. An elegant taste of what could be found having entered the now beautiful home on Sydney's leafy lower North shore. In collaboration with the amazing Mia Ward of Miwa Design, we've created a home for which I think the images of the delicious interiors speak for themselves. Now the main living area relates perfectly with the street, we've created that sense of address, and there is little doubt where the entry is, and the beauty that will be found within.
